A downloadable asset pack

As a dedicated fan of The Witcher 3, creating fan art for the game has always been a passion of mine. Recently, I had the opportunity to work on the character Geralt during my first semester in the MA 3D Games Art program at Teesside University.

For my optimization course, I focused on making the character as efficient as possible for video games. Special attention was given to the head's topology, which was crucial. My optimization efforts resulted in the entire character having about 313,000 tris.

I used Xgen in Maya to create the hair cards, rendered them, and then integrated them into the project. Finally, I managed the lighting and rendering in Unreal Engine 5, developing two master materials: one for all the models and another specifically for the hair.
